Humancentric Vertical Laptop Stand Review

If you are looking for a minimalist and straightforward laptop stand, you could start by checking this one out! Like the name suggests, HumanCentric is a brand that focuses on providing its customers with the best human experience possible concerning everyday technology. Before we begin, I’d like to thank the people at HumanCentric for helping us make this review possible.

1. Design

This fixed stand can fit laptops up to 1-inch in thickness. The stand itself is made of anodized aluminum alloy, which is scratch resistant to keep your stand looking good as new. It comes with silicone pads that securely grip your laptop, and the bottom is fitted with rubber feet to keep the stand securely on your desk. The midsection of the stand is raised to keep laptops and notebooks from toppling over. It also comes in 3 colours; black, silver and space grey.

2. Functionality

This stand is perfect if you plan to connect your laptop to an external monitor, keyboard and mouse. Simply dock your laptop to declutter your desk and protect it from any accidental spills!

The best part is that the open design doesn't block any ports and allows the air to flow freely. The mechanism is simple. The weight of the laptop provides the necessary clamping force required to hold the device in place.

The stand is sturdy and can take the weight of most laptops seamlessly, be it a 16-inch MacBook Pro or a Lenovo Thinkpad. However, as far as my experience with it goes, I think the stand was best suited for a laptop size between 11-13 inch long. So if you’re a Space Gray MacBook Pro owner, rest assured that the stand will work great, and the color will complement nicely.

Reviewers have praised it for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and quality of the material used. If your laptop is too light, the stand could lack in terms of necessary clamping, which may cause it to wobble around a bit.

3. Price

The HumanCentric vertical laptop stand retails for a comfortable $34.99, which I'd say is pretty competitive with its competitors. So if you’re someone who's in the market for a product like this, I’d say this is a pretty good bet.

Overall, the verdict on this is pretty simple. It’s a great product. The stand functions as described, the design is very sleek and aesthetically pleasing, and the price is definitely worth the quality. It checks all the boxes for me, so definitely grab one of your own if you’re keen!
