Go to this URL: https://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
Download the exe file that matches your Windows OS (for this example, we will be using Windows 64)
Run the program (accept all terms and conditions). This should take between 20-30 seconds for the program to be installed on your computer.
After this, OpenSSL should be successfully installed. To make sure it runs smoothly, we need to set up environment variables. Here is how to do that:
First, go to Files on your PC
Right click on This PC, then click on Properties
Under Properties, go to Advanced System Settings
Under Advanced system settings, you should see environment variables in the bottom right corner Click on that.
In environment variables, click on PAC. You should see an option for C:\Program Files\OpenSSL-Win64\bin. If you do not see this option, simply click on New, key the same file into the empty space, and then click OK to confirm the new path.
After choosing this option, your OpenSSL file should be ready to go! Once you are happy with the installation, you may press Exit to return back to your user folder
